2024 Oakshade Champions Honored

The Oakshade Raceway Awards Gathering took place on Saturday, honoring the top ten in points in each class as well as the Rookies of the Year (ROY), Hard Chargers and Most Improved. Drivers with perfect attendance also received a custom plaque.

Carter Murday was the 2022 DCR Graphics Sportsman Champion and earned the Late Model championship this year. He also won the Hard Charger award for the class. The rest of the top 10 in Late Model points were:

  • Jake Rendel (Most Improved)
  • Colin Shipley
  • Bob Mayer
  • Casey Noonan
  • Joe Smith
  • Josh Corkwell (ROY)
  • Herb Reich

Ryan Davis racked up a total of seven DCR Graphics Sportsman feature wins during the 2024 race season at Oakshade Raceway and convincingly won the division championship. The rest of the top 10 in points were:

  • Chris Williams
  • Kolin Schilt
  • Mike Jessen (Hard Charger)
  • Roman Brown (ROY)
  • Karl Spoores (Most Improved)
  • Brian Retcher

Jarrett Rendel capped off the 2024 race season with his very first track championship in the Dominator Super Stocks. The rest of the top ten in points were:

  • Chane Stuckey (Hard Charger & Most Improved)
  • Scott Hammer
  • John Lonabarger

Landon Bleikamp was the Dominator Super Stock Rookie of the Year.

Jason Deshler remained consistent throughout the 2024 race season and earned his first ever track championship in the Compacts. The rest of the top ten in Compact points were:

  • Nathan Goodman (Most Improved)

  • Eric Carr
  • Jeff Wells

Adam Thomas was the Compact Rookie of the Year.
