Due to heavy rains over the latter part of this past week and the already oversaturated grounds, Oakshade Raceway officials had to make the tough call to cancel tonight’s scheduled racing program.
There is standing water all around the facility and water still running down across the track in turn three as of this morning. Unfortunately it will take a few days with no rain to dry things out to get the facility ready for the race crowds.
The Oakshade/Attica Late Model Series will now kick off the season next week (5/11) along with full the DCR Graphics Sportsman, Dominator Super Stocks and Compacts. Gates will open at 4pm, hot laps/qualifying at 6pm and racing at 7:30pm.
