WAUSEON, OH – Oakshade Raceway hosted the annual awards banquet for the first time in two years to crown the 2021 track champions and recognize award winners. The ceremonies took place at the Fulton County Fairgrounds on Saturday evening.
Devin Shiels’ four wins, 17 top fives and 19 top ten finishes earned him his fourth UMP Late Model track championship in five years. Shiels was also once again awarded for winning the Oakshade/Attica Challenge Series championship.
Rusty Smith waited until Season Championship Night to earn the points lead and title in the UMP Sportsman class at Oakshade. Spurred by nine wins, 14 top fives and 15 top tens.
2021 Bomber (Soon-to-be Dominator Super Stocks) Spectacular winner, Gabe Mueller had two wins and 18 top fives to secure his Bomber championship.
Eric Carr took back-to-back track championships in the Compact class after racking up five wins, 16 top fives and 17 top tens.
